Ridley Gunderson is an experienced appraiser recognized by many lenders and manufacturers as a national expert on the value of metals and commodity inventory. He has had a 25-year career in the metals industry, which includes ferrous and nonferrous metals sales, production, and information technology with several leading metals producers and traders including Usinor Sacilor Steel. Mr. Gunderson founded Sector3 in 2004 and the Company is now one of the largest metals and commodity appraisal firms in the U.S. In addition to valuing and appraising companies throughout North America, Mr. Gunderson has worked extensively in Europe valuating inventories of manufacturers and distributors. Mr. Gunderson is a graduate of Georgetown University.

David Violette has led the analysis of several of the country's largest commodity and specialty metals producers and service centers. In addition to his appraisal work, Mr. Violette was previously Senior Manager of an operational costs group, gaining significant exposure to the operations, marketing and sales side of that business. This cross functional experience provides him with a strong understanding of the interrelationship of business activities and the impact that intersecting factors have on the value and saleability of company inventory. Mr. Violette has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island.

Robert Moore has had a 30-year career in metal distribution in sales and as a General Manager. He also operated a manufacturers' representative agency for several steel tubing and pipe companies. Mr. Moore has managed the toll processing of carbon, stainless and aluminum flat-rolled products, and served as vice president of sales and marketing for a major Japanese trading and distribution company. Mr. Moore has been an appraiser with Sector3 since 2004 and his broad experience and product knowledge, combined with a thorough understanding of the manufacturing processes, provide him with exceptional insight.

Working for Union Carbide Corporation (UCC) for over 30 years, Frank Jeffe has extensive experience within the chemical and plastics industries. Mr. Jeffe began his professional career as a field sales representative selling solvents, monomers and polymers to the paint and coatings market and continued at UCC in several managerial roles, more recently as the Global Business Manager for UCC’s vinyl acetate monomer, acrylate esters, and ethyl alcohol businesses. Mr. Jeffe has had extensive experience marketing monomers and polymers with particular emphasis on growth in the Asian markets. The growth in market share ultimately led to establishing a manufacturing facility for vinyl acetate monomer in South Korea and acrylate production in Malaysia. Most recently, Mr. Jeffe has pursued entrepreneurial ventures including bio-mass fuel ethanol production in South Florida. Mr. Jeffe has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Psychology from West Virginia University.

In a career that spans 40 years, Jim Bischoff has worked for both integrated and minimill steel producers serving as vice president of sales, marketing and operations, as well as in senior management positions. Mr. Bischoff recently began appraising and his broad experience and product knowledge, along with his understanding of the manufacturing, sales and business processes of the metals industry, provide him with a practical perspective.

Ted Davis has over 30 years of experience in the metal recycling industry and is a former partner in the largest scrap metal recycling company in the southeast, where he designed, engineered and installed major new processing equipment and assessed scrap metal inventories for various purposes including bank relations, in-house marketing, and acquisitions and mergers. In 1981, Mr. Davis founded Carolina Scrap Consultants, Inc. (CSC), which focused on identifying and resolving the scrap metal concerns of southern power companies, and in 1985, CSC merged with Industrial Metal Processing (IMP). As the Vice President of Operations at IMP, Mr. Davis was responsible for the day-to-day operations of two scrap facilities that processed both ferrous and nonferrous scrap. Mr. Davis and three partners purchased the total assets of IMP in 1988 and in 1995 purchased a brownfield property that allowed the company to develop into a modern and leading recycling facility. In 1999, IMP merged with Spartan Iron and became Carolinas Recycling Group (CRG). During his tenure at CRG, Mr. Davis established new inventory programs that improved average inventory turns and managed the design and installment of a $6.5 million steel scrap shredder. Mr. Davis also assessed and valued all equipment and scrap inventory as CRG acquired seven different companies.

James Knight has over 25 years experience in the scrap recycling industry. Mr. Knight began his career in 1979 as an outside salesperson at Industrial Scrap and was later given responsibility for the purchase and sale of all ferrous and nonferrous metals. When Industrial Scrap merged with Carolina Scrap Consultants in 1985 to form Industrial Metal Processing (IMP), Mr. Knight was made president of the company. Mr. Knight purchased IMP with three other partners in 1988. In 1999, IMP merged with Spartan Iron and became Carolina Recycling Group (CRG). One of the largest scrap recycling companies in the Southeast, CRG had sales of over 570 thousand tons of ferrous and 100 million pounds of nonferrous metal per year. As president of CRG, Mr. Knight was also involved in the acquisition and assimilation of seven other scrap companies during his tenure at CRG. He retired from CRG in 2004 and is the current owner and president of Legacy Timber Investments LLC.

Marc O’Neill has over 20 years of experience in the metals and financial sectors, first in banking and fund management and then with United States Steel. Recently Mr. O’Neill has served as a consultant to service centers, metals processors, equipment builders, investors and lending institutions as well as in asset valuation. At U.S. Steel Corporation Mr. O’Neil’s responsibilities centered on outside processing management. Working at several of their mills focusing on steel processing he also developed the processor and distribution network in Mexico and was instrumental in the creation of Straightline, the nationwide steel processing and warehousing network for USS’s internet based steel sales division. Mr. O’Neill has extensive contacts throughout the industry and a strong working knowledge of all major metals markets in North America.

Greg Trilevsky is a registered metallurgical engineer with a 40-year career in the metals industry. His experience includes primary steel, secondary aluminum, and zinc production; foundry processing; and fastener production of steel, alloy, brass and aluminum bolts for the automotive and industrial markets. Mr. Trilevsky has also been involved in sales to industrial firms and metals service centers, specializing in mill produced products such as sheet coil, plate, structural shapes, wire rod and bar in steel, nickel-based alloys, aluminum, brass, copper and stainless. Mr. Trilevsky has been an appraiser with Sector3 since 2004.

For almost 30 years, Jack Chartier has worked as a machinery and equipment appraiser primarily in the metals industry but also for the petrochemical, pulp & paper, automotive and aerospace industries. In 2003, Mr. Chartier founded Atlas Valuation Solutions LLC in order to provide valuation services to adequately address tax issues pertaining to mergers and acquisitions, orderly and forced liquidation valuations with respect to asset-based financing, replacement cost analysis for the insurance industry, and property records accounting analysis to ensure proper asset stewardship.
